Booking a Ride with Niagara Specialize Transit
Bookings must be done 2 business days prior to your trip.
Available Booking Options
We offer two options for booking your trip:

Subscription for Regular, Repeating Trips
Trips that occur at the same time of day, on the same day, for a minimum, of at least six weeks. Examples of this type of trip are dialysis, therapy appointments, or any medical appointment that repeats each week on the same day at the same time. -
Reservations for One Time Trips
Trips not taken regularly.
To Book a Trip
Please have the following information ready when you call:
- Date and times of trip (pick-up and return)
- Addresses of pick-up and destination locations
- Details of any attendant or service animal accompanying you on the trip
Call 905-680-2052 or 1-866-487-7765 to book your trip.
The dispatcher will advise the rider the cost of the trip at the time of the booking.
TTY Instructions to Book a Trip
Call the TTY operator who will call NST.
Type your message to the TTY operator who will forward it to us.
We will complete your booking through the TTY operator who will confirm your trip by typing the response.
Trip Confirmation
Riders will be called by 3 p.m. the day before the trip. If they are not called, riders can call 905-680-2052 or 1-866-487-7765 to confirm their trip, during regular business hours.
Return Trips
Riders must notify the doctor or medical facility they are visiting that they have a return trip booked and the time the vehicle is scheduled to arrive to take you home. The co-operation of the doctor or the facility will help the service stay on time.
Trip must be to another Municipality
Riders cannot be picked-up and transported to a destination within the same municipality. A trip must be from one municipality to another municipality.
For example:
If a rider is picked-up in St. Catharines, their destination must be outside of St. Catharines.
