Testing for private wells is available to residents year round.
It is recommended that you test your well water four times per year: spring, summer, fall and winter.
If you do not test each season, then take three samples 1 to 3 weeks apart, as a single sample is not enough to determine the quality of your well water.
Testing kits are available at locations throughout Niagara region to pick-up and drop-off.
The form included in your kit must be completely filled-in, including telephone number, mailing address, details about the sample.
