Metal and Plastic Paint Cans (empty)

Plastic or Metal paint cans with a thin layer of residual dry paint are accepted in the Blue Box; however, paint can lids must be removed from the containers and recycled with the other Blue Box materials.

This item is considered Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and must not be included in your curbside garbage, recycling collection, or poured down the drain.
