Throughout the year, Niagara Region offers residents an opportunity to drop off their Household Hazardous Waste on designated days at locations throughout the region.

The Niagara Road 12 Landfill site is available to residents of Grimsby, Lincoln, Pelham and West Lincoln year-round to accept household hazardous waste. 

Dropping off Household Hazardous Waste

• Ensure all materials are in the original container, or a container that is well-marked to indicate the contents

• Ensure all containers are securely capped

• Materials can only be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. due to operating permits. (with the exception of Niagara Road 12 Landfill site)  No materials can be accepted before/after this time due to legal reasons.

• Only bring Acceptable Household Hazardous Waste Items to the Depot.

Safety Precautions

• All residents must remain in their vehicles while at the depots.  No walk-ins are permitted.
• During unloading process, vehicles must be turned off

Re-use Table

• Items in good condition will be placed on display for other residents to take, free of charge.
