Supportive Housing
If you need some degree of help with the activities of daily living such as personal care or preparing meals, supportive housing may be an option for you. Your individual care needs are met while enabling you to optimize your health, well-being and preferred lifestyle in a supervised residence.
We offer the following options for supportive housing:

Supportive Housing at Deer Park Suites
We currently offer supportive housing in residences in Fort Erie, Port Colborne and Welland in private or semi-private accommodations in both rural and urban settings. Your individual care needs will be assessed before a residence will be selected. Supportive housing is also available as short stay and vacation care in private residences as another form of respite.
All our residences are carefully selected, regularly inspected and approved by municipal, regional and provincial authorities.
Fees
The fee for supportive housing in a private residence is based on your income.
Amenities
We want you to be as independent as possible for as long as possible. The degree of help provided is in keeping with your abilities.
You may choose a supportive housing building where you are surrounded by other people with similar lifestyles and interests. Deer Park Suites, located at Deer Park Villa in Grimsby has 26 supportive housing suites for singles or couples.
Your privacy is respected and your safety ensured. You live in your own suite and remain as independent as you choose within a supportive environment. Help is available with everyday activities such as personal care, bathing, medication cuing and homemaking support at your request. Appetizing meals are provided as well as various recreational, social and spiritual activities.
Fees
The fee is based on a monthly charge for a suite and for meals.
