Volunteering at Long-Term Care HomesOur volunteers are a precious resource. Dedicated volunteers enrich our home life by helping staff and residents in many ways: with friendly visits, crafts, outings and meals. Most of our homes have active Auxiliaries which make an enormous contribution by sponsoring social activities, operating the gift shops and cafes as well as fundraising for the purchase of equipment.
Speak to the Manager of Resident and Community Programs about your interest in volunteering at one of our long-term care homes. We would be glad to have you on our team.
Information on employment opportunities in long-term care is available on our Careers page.
Opportunities are available at our homes for student placements in various skill areas. Students must have their school's student placement office make the arrangement by contacting the Education and Quality Improvement Manger, Niagara Region Seniors Services, at 905-984-6900 ext. 3819.
