Mall Walking in Niagara

Mall walking provides a safe environment to exercise in without concerns of inclement weather. The following list is of various shopping malls located in Niagara that support mall walking. Not all the shopping malls have organized mall walking programs, but people are welcome to use the mall for walking.


Fort Erie - County Fair Mall

  Comments:No organized mall walking program in place, however mall management permits patrons to mall walk beginning at 9 am.

Niagara Falls - Niagara Square Shopping Centre

  Comments:Mall walking program in place. Walking open from 7 -10 am. Sign up at the customer kiosk for your free membership. Two times around the mall is one mile.

Welland - Seaway Mall

  Comments:Mall walking program in place. Visit Health Wise to sign up for a card (door entrance near CIBC bank). Free program. One mile equals two laps around the mall. Doors open at 7 am.

St. Catharines - Fairview Mall

  Comments:Pay $5 for a lifetime mall walking membership. Doors open at 6 am. One lap equals a quarter of a mile.

St. Catharines - Pen Centre

  Contact:Register at Customer Service, adjacent to the new Bay Court, for details.
  Comments:Mall Walking Members receive a free official Pen Centre pedometers, MALLWALK discount card (including a list of participating stores) and periodic mail outs. Membership is free. Outside perimeter of the mall is 1.4 km and inner loop is 0.25 km. Doors open weekdays at 7 am.
