Viet Nam Municipal Partnership Program
Federation of Canadian Municipalities - Municipal Partnership Program
Niagara Region and the Town of Tuy Hoa, Viet Nam are partners in the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Municipal Partnership Program. FCM provides funds to cover all costs related to Niagara Region’s involvement in the program including international transportation, accommodation and meals. The municipal partnership program is a technical exchange and capacity building project with no municipal capital cost commitment. Niagara Region is only expected to contribute staff time to participate in the program.

- On February 3, 2005, Regional Council approved the staff report which recommended that the Project Proposal for the Niagara Region – Tuy Hoa, Viet Nam Municipal Partnership Program entitled Improving Waste Management Practices in the Town of Tuy Hoa be approved. Press this link for the report.
