Submitting a Letter to Council

Residents can communicate directly with council by submitting a formal letter.

Residents submitting a written communication for inclusion in the council agenda must submit the document to the Clerk no later than 9 a.m. on the Friday prior to the council meeting.

Written submissions for inclusion in the addendum to the council agenda must be filed with the Clerk by 9 a.m. on the day of the council meeting.

Letters to the Clerk's office must be typed, double-spaced, single-sided and signed.

Notice to individuals writing to Regional Council or Committees:

Written correspondence (letters, petitions, etc.) submitted may be placed in a public agenda and will become part of the public record. Your personal information will be collected and maintained for the purpose of creating a record and may be available to the general public pursuant to the Municipal Act 2001, the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and any other relevant Acts.

Speaking Directly with your Councillor

Residents may also speak one-on-one with their Regional Councillor to ensure that their concerns are being heard.
