Regional Councillor Shirley Cordiner was elected to Council for the Town of Fort Erie from 1997 – 2000. She is serving her first term on Regional Council.
She has served as a Member and Chair of the Niagara Regional Police Services Board from 1991 – 2001. She served as trustee on the Niagara South Board of Education from 1994 – 1997.
Councillor Cordiner is very involved in her community. She is Chair, of the Greater Fort Erie Health Services Board, and also Chair of the Fort Erie Community Policing Committee. She enjoys working with youth in her community. She has also received the Helen Keller Fellowship Award.
