Regional Councillor Ronna Katzman is serving her third term on Regional Council.
Councillor Katzman began her political career when she was elected as a School Board Trustee in 1991 and served as a Trustee for six years. She was elected to council for the City of St. Catharines, representing the St. Patrick's Ward from 1997 to 2003. She served on a variety of Boards and Commissions, including the St. Catharines Library Board, Humane Society Board, Heritage Board, Executive Committee and a board member of the Mayors Committee on Race Relations. She has been reappointed by St. Catharines City Council to continue as a member of the Downtown Association.
Councillor Katzman has volunteered for numerous organizations, most notably "Community Partners".
