Councillor D'Angela is currently serving his second term on Regional Council.
Regional Councillor D'Angela began his political career when he was elected Commissioner for the Thorold Hydro Electric Commission serving from 1997 to 2000. He served as Councillor for the City of Thorold from 2000 to 2003 and was a member of the Downtown Redevelopment Task Force Committee, Thorold Community Activities Group, Thorold Chamber of Commerce, and the Thorold Non-Profit Housing Corporation. He was elected as Mayor for the City of Thorold in 2006 and in this capacity served his first term as Regional Councillor.
Councillor D'Angela holds a degree in Arts with a major in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University.
