Regional Councillor George Marshall was first elected as Alderman for the City of Welland in 1982 and served for nine years.
He is currently serving his fifth term as Regional Councillor. Councillor Marshall currently serves on the Public Health and Social Services Committee, the Integrated Community Planning Committee and the Public Works Committee (formerly the Integrated Community Planning and Public Works Committee). He also serves on the Planning Review Committee, Greater Niagara Circle Route Committee, and the Culture Committee.
