Regional Councillor Brian Heit has proudly served the citizens of St. Catharines for fifteen years as both City Councillor and Deputy Mayor. In his role as City Councillor, Brian served on all major committees of council, with particular focus in the areas of finance and budget.
Councillor Heit is active in the Community having served as a Board Member for the St. Catharines Chamber of Commerce, Niagara Grape and Wine Festival, Niagara Symphony, St. Catharines Downtown Association. He received the Ontario Volunteer Service Award and the St. Cathazrines Volunteer Recognition Award.
This is Councillor Heit's second term on Regional Council, and currently serves on the Corporate and Services Committee. He also serves on the Audit Committee. He represents council on the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority.
