The Legal Services Division of the Corporate Services Department provides legal services to the Regional Government (Regional Council and departments). Unfortunately the Division is not able to provide legal services to the public. Individuals who require legal assistance should contact:

Provincial Offences

If you received a fine under the Highway Traffic Act, Liquor Control Act or other Provincial Legislation, you can pay it online.

Claims Against the Region

The Legal Division processes and oversees the administration of claims made against the Region. Should you wish to file a claim, please submit your claim in writing to:

Claims may also be emailed to the Regional Clerk, or submitted using the Online form.

Upon receipt of your claim, you or your representative will receive confirmation that the Region has received your claim and our investigation is underway.
